*V*I*R*G*O*'s new album, Clarity, to be released Spring 2009
*V*I*R*G*O* has just returned from a three-month stay in Amsterdam, where he and his longtime friend and collaborator PRYDRM completed several tracks for *V*'s sophomore release, Clarity, as well as some music for *V*'s third, as-yet-untitled album slated for release in 2010.
Now back in NY. *V* is putting the final finishing touches on Clarity and will premiere the first of the album's singles right here on this site within the coming months.
Clarity comprises a dramatic and sophisticated body of work 10 years in the making. Featuring a slicker, cleaner production style than the aggressive down-and-dirty distortion of Moderate Extremism, Clarity is sure to hold many surprises for veteran *V* fans.

The Politics of Photosynthesis: A Tribute to Stereolab is also now available on iTunes. *V*I*R*G*O* collaborated with Dutch producer/remixer PRYDRM to remake Stereolab's "Margerine Melodie" for the album.
